This time the downtime was my web hosting company's fault. They were trying to upgrade my server but it failed somehow.

They have restored it to the 10th July backup.

Hey Guys,

Sorry about the downtime guys, migrated Antirealm to another VPS. The application needed more RAM and besides I wanted to move to debian lenny as I'm just loving it and CentOS was just wacky.

I had to muck around with the PHP installation so it would use the bundled GD. This required me to download the debian package source, modify it and recompile it and so fourth, so it's possible a few features might not work as I sus everything out.

Working on the forum still, once again not much time but most of my free time is on this! So stay posted and things will be much better soon ^.^

There was a problem with the sessions and cookies, hopefully it's resolved. If you have any strange problems logging in let me know.

Also the album art wasn't working thanks to me forgetting to chown a dir :@

Design changes, news RSS feed and commenting

I have made some changes to the visual layout, because the future will need it.

A test news RSS feed is now available for those of you who want to keep track of the site easily.

Now people can comment on these items, you have to be logged in though.

I have set up a basic image upload facility. Please note this is a BETA system and is expected to break randomly.

Pictures must be approved by me before it can be viewed by the public. You have to be logged in to view one of your pics that has not been approved.

You can expect this feature to evolve randomly.

I am currently working on adding some new interactive items to the site:

A forum
User image uploads
Custom signatures (defined by what I call SigML, which is an XML-based templating language)
Version 2.0 of the API & plugin which is almost done
Personal profiles
Facility for obtaining song lyrics

Hopefully, the forum will help me develop the site for the future.
